25th Anniversary GI JOE: Blackhawk Down

Gothic Serpent.
To civvy street, it is known as “Blackhawk Down”.

TS118 was at the Toycon 2009 and was created the centre piece, featuring the Joe interpretation of Blackhawk Down!

As with all TS118 dioramas, it tells a story. I will be frank. Anyone who does not appreciate this setup is a tool.
True to the movie, it starts with mobilization.

I was too late to picture the initial stages but it included the team planning their raid and the convoy moving out in a featureless dessert. I will definitely have to get a few sacks of prime sand to replicate this.

Approaching the objective.
Not seen here is the informant’s car with the taped cross on the roof. I guess he is not getting paid for not being visible ;)

The Joes rounding up their top ten most wanted.
Nice Truck!

I really should custom make a Repeater soon.
*envious*

The trap about to spring!

I really should get a new camera s the amount of detail is staggering.
The “skinnies”, burnt tires, technicals, LAVs, Little Birds…
It is an effing free fire zone!

I will try to get more pictures somehow.
Meanwhile, I will have to foster a failed government in my living room just to get the ball rolling…

    What camera do you use?

(I’m also thinking of upgrading this year).

Cheap digicam point and shoot ;)
    An antique Canon A10.
Now, tell me I need a new Digicam ;)

I also use a Canon point-and-shoot (5 MP) with a nice macro set-up. Sharp lens too.

I’m thinking of getting a 10 MP next time (still Canon of course!) :)

My Digicam is already 6 years old.

    Definitely need a new one.

Canon is good but you better take care of it. Canon’s service support centre in the Philippines will do more harm to your camera.
